Chair Project : Part 1

Our primary studio project for this quarter is the quintessential student design project, the chair. It presents an interesting problem because so many designs have been done already. It's easy to accidentally copy someone else's work subconsciously and I've caught myself doing this many times already. After a quick round of sketches, these are the three concepts that I've decided to pursue further.


My favorite is concept 01 so I'll probably move forward with some variation of it. Here's a couple more shots for good measure.

Storage to the Max!

The default 80 GB drive in my computer just wasn't cutting it so I put in a brand new 320 GB, 7200 RPM powerhouse that is basically a million times better. This will ideally stop my computer from freezing up whenever I have two or three adobe programs open at once. Nice!
