New Chair Direction

So I think I've finally settled on a direction for my chair legs. I might still be able to finish if I work nonstop without sleep for the next week.

We'll see.

Just some abstract photoshop shapes for Zammit. I'm hoping that this class will get a little better with the shoe project.

Chair Project : Part 1

Our primary studio project for this quarter is the quintessential student design project, the chair. It presents an interesting problem because so many designs have been done already. It's easy to accidentally copy someone else's work subconsciously and I've caught myself doing this many times already. After a quick round of sketches, these are the three concepts that I've decided to pursue further.


My favorite is concept 01 so I'll probably move forward with some variation of it. Here's a couple more shots for good measure.
